Learn the Difference
Just 15% of patients treated in an emergency room are real medical emergencies, according to the U.S. government’s division of health care statistics.
So this means that 85% of all patients who go to the emergency room don’t really have a medical emergency and could seek other treatment options at significantly lower costs and with far less wait-time than your typical ER.
When your injury or illness needs to have urgent medical attention but is not an emergency, you should seek treatment at a Connecticut Urgent Care Center.
Urgent Care Visits Are Less Expensive Than Emergency Room Visits
A visit to the emergency room can cost thousands of dollars and have a co-pay of $200 and more. When you visit a Connecticut Urgent Care Center, the costs are far less. Urgent Care insurance co-pays are typically $20-$50, with the total cost at a fraction of a visit to the emergency room. We accept most major insurance. For individuals who will not be using insurance, there is a discount that we can offer when payment is made at the time the service is provided.

For patients not using insurance, a discount can be offered for payments made at the time service is provided.
